The only Sub-Genre that’s cranking out just as much as “Found Footage” (Paranormal Activity, Chronicle, Project X) is “Ensemble Romantic Comedy” (New Years Eve, Think Like A Man, What To Expect When You’re Expecting). Movie studios seem so lazy that they’re trying to fit 6-7 movies in one. Half-assing a dozen hollow characters and story lines (that barely connect) and cramming them all in a flick filled with so many cliches it’s generic and expecting to break box office records with a film just because it has an overly crowded cast.
