Final thoughts on Clint Eastwood (and Chair) at the Republican National Convention

Like most of the other people that spoke at this, besides him lying he couldn’t figure out what his point was (it’s just an empty chair, and I’m talking to nothing— No, the president is there but he’s invisible, because he’s talking back to me and only me because no one else can hear him because— no it’s just an empty chair…)

Overall I failed to see the connection between an empty chair (that was able to give answers and say “Shut up”… but only Clint was able to hear it? I think…) and the man who made the death of the world’s #1 terrorist possible (when John McCain would have said “No”), saved our auto industry (when Willard said “No”), stopped multiple foreclosures (when Willard said “No”), and helped myself and multiple people stay on their parents’ insurance to remain healthy (when any of them would have said “Fuck No”).

The only argument I’ve seen from people on this is “Eastwood’s badass and cool”— Close. He played badasses in movies that were cool. There’s a difference.

Creepy/Goofy chair skit aside: He was a liar. He blamed Barack Obama for the Afghanistan War (pretty sure that happened after 9/11). Paul Ryan blamed him for a factory closing before he was even president. Willard blames him for everything now, and kinda made America out to be in wonderful shape in 2008, but ONE guy in 4 years fucked it all up, and then made everything bad from 2001-2008 exist (so now he can time travel AND be invisible) and the Republican Party came together with the rest of the country to support and hope the president succeeded (BULL…SHIT). 100 days, 42 days, and even 8 days into his presidency they already labeled him a failure and wished it that way.

These people barely bother bringing themselves up, they mainly bring others down. The entire platform of the RNC was “Obama Sucks.” With Jeb Bush adding “Stop blaming my brother” (pretty hard not to, even his own party hasn’t invited him to the last 2 conventions).

Your thoughts?
