The Hangover Part III was better than Part II. Still think the first is the best. I do like how they made the trilogy come full-circle kinda like Ocean’s Thirteen and The Dark Knight Rises (maybe not as epic but whatever). I was once again annoyed at how Doug has to be elsewhere no matter what and Chow is over-used like he’s a member of The Wolfpack when he really wasn’t that big of a character in the original. I’d see it another time. I give it a C+.

One more reason why The Hangover Part III will be better than Part II? Part II didn’t have a trailer for a Zack Snyder / Christopher Nolan / Superman film. I almost included DC Comics but Green Lantern came out a few weeks later so they probably did take advantage of a disappointment by advertising a bigger disappointment in front of it. Disappointception.

I liked The Great Gatsby. Leonardo DiCaprio did good (duh) and so did Toby Maguire and Joel Edgerton. Carrie Mulligan was alright. I liked how it was stylized. I even liked how the soundtrack worked. When it was showing archive footage of New York and Wall Street to No Church In The Wild I shook my head with approval. I give it a B/B+. Need to see it again.
